The term "accessory" refers to anything that is not indispensable but is often used to improve an object or an act           wise fashion accessories
Like clothing, fashion accessories have a function both utilitarian and symbolic.

For example, handbags can carry objects. It's their utilitarian function. From a symbolic point of view, handbags are objects that signal a social status and a lifestyle according to their brand, their clothing, etc.

Types of fashion accessories
This term, appeared late in the language of fashion, covers objects responding to various functions: ornamental, convention (as objects "of containment" from the sixteenth century: umbels and canes, hats from the nineteenth century), protection (bottom, shoes) 1.

There are several types of fashion accessories:

jewelery such as bracelets, rings, earrings, brooches, necklaces, minaudières, body chains or outfits. Factors influencing the choice of materials vary according to cultural differences and availability. A particular quality of jewelry may be appreciated due to the characteristics of its materials, designs, or to symbols with special meaning.
